Nautical Inspiration

One of my best friends is getting married this summer and asked me to help with her invitations. Its going to be a beautiful affair, a beach wedding in Florida. I collected some images to help us get inspired. The look: burlap, shells, navy blue and white, and touches of nautical flair.

I love everything about weddings and had a ball planning all the special details of my own (you can see posts about that here). In fact, I had spent so much time coming up with creative ideas for my own wedding that after the event I still needed that creative outlet and so started this blog!

I find this nautical scheme really appealing these days. Maybe its the stripes - they remind me of summery warm days which I crave right around this time of season.
