Here and There

Monday. So hard to get going today, especially with the picture perfect fall weekend we just had.

Little one got to jump off quite a few hay bales when we went to a birthday party at a farm. That's pure joy right there. She wasn't going to leave empty handed so we bought one small pumpkin and some mini hay bales for outdoor decor. She'll probably try jumping off those too.

Speaking of jumping, she also tried jumping off these pieces of foam. I'm sewing them up into some floor cushions...

but this is as far as I got. Yes, that's the material for the floor cushions and some pillows, all cut up and put into individual zip lop bags along with diagrams. I need to find some time to sew and get these all done. Sewing project baggies... anal or organized? You decide ;)

Here's something pretty. Style At Home has launched a Limited Edition collection of home decor products. I've been invited to the launch on Tuesday, Sept. 25th 8am-10am and you can come along too via the Style At Home Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. They'll be sharing peeks of the new products, like the pitcher above. I like the faux bois texture, it would look so fun with holiday greenery.

And here's another basement project I have to get working on (is it just me, or is this basement renovation taking forever?). Any guesses as to what this is?

I'm also having a hard time getting going this morning. What a beautiful weekend! Can you let me know where you purchased your foam? I'm also located in Toronto and I've been looking for a supplier. Thanks.

I actually purchased that foam at Fabricland. It was leftover from another project. Not sure how much you need, but I've heard of other people using camping foam mattresses (I would think Canadian Tire has some) for projects like upholstered headboards.
