Thankful

Its Thanksgiving here on Monday and I have much to be thankful for...

...like this crazy little girl and her constant shouts of "Mommy, mommy look at me", "mommy watch me do a handstand", "mommy mommy mommy"... which interrupt my work, but every time I turn around and stop, I catch a moment I'm so thankful I didn't miss...

...or this basement that still.isn't.finished and I wonder sometimes if it ever will be - but when I look around and see a blank slate full of possibility, reminds me that I am lucky to have a roof over my head and the opportunity to make a home for my family...

...and folks like Babble, who included this blog in their list of the Top 50 Design Blogs for Mom, 2012, (and listed me right after Jenny? I die). I don't blog for the recognition but when somebody in some small way says "You're doing good", you tuck that away and let it cast a warm happy glow inside you...

...and most especially for all of you who visit here. Every comment, every page view, every moment you spend reading the words I write on this page are a gift. There are so many other things you could be doing with your time and I am thankful you choose to spend some of that time with me.
