Forgive the striations on the print. I just printed this on my home printer and my black ink is running low. If I saved the file and had it printed at Staples, it would look nice and crisp. (But I change my mind too frequently about art, so this home made print will do fine!).
If you have Photoshop, you can create your own art using:
- a chalkboard background like this one from Flickr user Karin Dalziel
- this hand drawn wreath download from Besotted Brand
- this free font
Or, if you don't have Photoshop, here are some free downloads for you :) Just click on the photo to download the file. Images are sized to print 8x10.
Oh - and if you're in Canada and have a child that produces 100's of original artworks a day, you might want to pick up the frame I used above from the Presidents Choice decor line at Loblaws/Superstore. Its an art frame and has a slot in the back which makes it easy to slip in and out the latest masterpiece. Genius!

I came over from Hi Sugarplum's linky party. Awesome job on this - and thanks for the printable!

Isn't this a copy of Shanna Murray's original artwork?
ReplyDeleteThe wreath download above which I noted is from Besotted Brand blog was posted on November 2010. I don't know when Shanna started her hand drawn work. Do you?
ReplyDeletelove!! thanks for the links Jen! I am on my way to create some tonight!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I love chalkboard art - it really makes me wish I had a chalkboard so I could try my hand at it.
ReplyDeleteCute! I think I'll try drawing this by hand on my chalkboard fridge...
ReplyDeleteI adore this print!!! Thanks for the free printable!
ReplyDelete(PS - Just a note on a tiny type - chalkboard needs the k in the title of the post)
Thanks Amy! Fixed now :)
