Okay, deep breaths. It's that time of the year again when things start to get crazy. Crafting, shopping, cooking, decorating... are you starting to feel the crunch too?
One task I do look forward to every year though is picking out our annual Christmas Cards. Like I've done for the last three years, I'm getting my cards from Tiny Prints. I've checked out other card companies but I find that Tiny Prints' designs and the quality of their cards can't be beat (and they ship super fast to Canada too). You can see the fabulous cards we picked out previous years here, here, and here (this one is still my favourite).
My only complaint is that there is too much to choose from. I always have a tough time narrowing down the choices so here are a few that have made it on to my short list this year:
You can see I'm a big fan of the rounded corners. Love that feature! Last year, I really couldn't decide which card to pick so I mixed it up and bought three different designs! Whichever one I choose this year, I'm going to use an idea Giulia shared and put one of Chloe's drawings on the back, like below. (That's Strawberry Shortcake and her friends if you couldn't tell. I'm hoping Chloe can draw us a family portrait this week for the card).
Tiny Prints has also started selling photo mugs. We gave HandyMan a mug a few years ago which he kept at the office and then one of his co-workers started using it. The mug had a pic of Chloe & HandyMan on it so its not like they didn't know it was his! So weird. I'm putting one of these in my shopping cart too.
If you're ready to order your Holiday cards, its your lucky day because Tiny Prints is giving one of my awesome readers $50 towards your order! Contest entry and details below. Or, if you'd rather not wait and take your chances, check out the Tiny Prints Special Offer page for other promotions. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is Santa arriving outside on Christmas Eve (on a 50+ year old decorated trailer being pulled by a Fire Truck). He drives through our entire little town and you hear the sirens late into the night as the kids anxiously wait for him to arrive so they can sit on his lap. We were really confused the first time we saw it!

Our tradition is having an Advent Calendar, that's like Santa's workshop, and my kids take turns unwrapping one of the toys each morning, they still love doing this even at the ripe old age of 13 and 15, and making gingerbread houses!
