Get Your Shopping On
Have you started your Christmas shopping? I haven't. I haven't even put a list together! I do plan to get a start on my shopping though at the One of a Kind Christmas Show which runs from November 22nd to December 2nd. The show is my favourite place to find unique, handmade gifts. This year, I'm also participating in the One of a Kind Show Blogger Challenge. I'll be picking my Top 5 products and presenting them at the Main Stage during the Late Night shopping event that happens on Nov. 29th.
As a warm up to the event, you can check out and vote for my Pinterest board that shows my vision of the theme "Twas The Night Before Christmas". To me, Christmas Eve is all about comfort, spending time with family and friends, and simplicity. Here's a peek at my board and a bit of what I'll be presenting on stage:
Mmmmm, hot chocolate.
I'd love to see you there so the One of a Kind Show has provided me with 10 pairs of tickets and a $50 Gift Certificate to give away! Here's how to enter:
Or, if you don't want to take your chances, you can purchase tickets at a special rate of $11 right here. Good luck!
P.S. Don't forget to vote for my Pinterest board from Nov.16th to 28th
P.P.S. Can I bribe you for votes by offering up a Laundry Room Reveal?? Oh yeah, that is going to happen. Come back on Monday :)

Gorgeous board! Voted. Best Christmas gift I ever gave was a silhouette of my daughter for each of the grandparents. Instead of the traditional black, I did it in eitehr hot pink and turquoise blue.
ReplyDeletebest present I ever gave was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for my wife
ReplyDeletebest present I ever gave was a handmade scarf I knitted for my dad when I was about 12. I'm 32 and he still has it!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to the One of a Kind christmas show so i'm really looking forward to it this year after hearing great things!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pinterest boards.
ReplyDeleteOne Christmas gift that stood out in my mind was from way back in the day. We are going back twenty years here. It was a pair of Dayton motorcycle boots I gave to my husband when we were two years into dating. Man he loved those things! :)
Our favourite gift to give now is a photo book featuring highlights of the year.
I voted for you - natch. You have one of my favourite winter pictures with the picnic and the plaid blanket as a tablecloth. I would love to do something like that.
ReplyDeleteI love the One of a Kind show!! I think the best Christmas gift I gave was to my sister...we agreed to buy tickets to a concert to see our fave band and I put them on my credit card and she was to pay me back. She ended up not having enough money to pay for the ticket and said to take someone else; so I gave her the ticket as her Christmas present. (We had the best time at the concert btw and I quote from my sister "OMG BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!!" :)
ReplyDeleteBest christmas gift i ever gave was to my mom- a homemade calendar of pics of my brother and me all through our childhood.
ReplyDeleteAlso - CONGRATS on being featured, and Rafflecopter = COOL! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... best Christmas present I ever gave was to whisk my hubby away to a romantic B&B in Mindon as a surprise, with all the X-country ski gear hidden in the back. Before kids - obviously! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the One of a Kind Show. Gets me in the holiday spirit. Best gift I gave was probably home made gifts, like paintings.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jen! Your Pinterest board looks fab!
ReplyDeleteLove your pinterest broad too! But i love all things Christmas! As for the best gift I gave, it would have to this old teapot I gave my grandmother. She used to have one and made tea with it everyday but it broke years ago. But the stopped making the old teapot so she finally gave in and got a regular kettle instead but used to complain that it wasn't the same. So after much searching on eBay and vintage stores, I found her teapot (same pattern and everything!), and it was her favourite Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, she broke it after 2 years :(. Oh well! :)
Im planning on going to the one of kind show too!!!
ReplyDeletelove the pinterest board - i could go for some of that hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteloving your pinterest board! i think i love the fireplace the most and love the weather wood barn with red planters! I clipped that from the magazine a couple of years back as well :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pinterest board!
ReplyDeleteBest Christmas gift I ever gave was a trip London England to my then boyfriend (now husband) to see his best friend that he hadn't seen in years.
