Six Years
Six years ago, Sean and I were married at Hogwarts.
I joke... we had a beautiful day, a sunny outdoor ceremony followed by brunch and the strains of the jazz quartet echoing throughout Hart House.

I look back at the last six years of marriage, the last nine years of being a couple, and am happy that we are still here, together. Marriage takes work. It takes tenderness and patience, understanding and tolerance. And if you're lucky, it brings you a deeper love than you thought possible.
Tonight, we'll celebrate with adult conversation and unhurried lingering over coffee, just like we did on our very first date. Happy anniversary to us!
