A New Look At EQ3

by - Sunday, September 09, 2012

I recently had a chance to attend the opening of EQ3's new flagship store here in Liberty Village in Toronto. It was great to catch up with the EQ3 crew I haven't seen since they participated at BlogPodium and check out the impressive new store. I love seeing how retailers translate their brands into a physical structure and this one offered that rustic industrial vibe that is really appealing these days, all concrete floors, ash shelving and dramatic lighting.

I've long admired EQ3's clean-lined aesthetic. Truthfully though, I thought their products may be a little too contemporary for my more traditional home. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few pieces that  would fit right in at Casa Rambling Renovators. Here's a few that caught my eye:

I'll have to make another visit to the store soon. We're on the hunt for a sofa for the basement and there were a few there I'll have to test out! The Liberty Village store also has a unique Marimekko "store within a store" that deserves a second look.

Have you shopped at EQ3? I've always thought of them as catering more to apartment dwellers but it looks like they've really expanded their offerings.

Note: I wasn't compensated for writing about EQ3. Sometimes, I encounter a shop or products I just want to share with you :)

  1. I love EQ3's new products too! I've been pouring over their catalogue since I picked it out of our mailbox. And let me tell you, we have a glass waterfall coffeetable at our house (only ours was bought at Urban Barn) and we love it! It may not be conducive to little people though...we don't have any little ones, but I do feel like I'm always cleaning it! lol!
