Cans for Comments 2010
I love the holiday season. Our homes seem cozier, the food and celebrations are more abundant, and I find myself smiling deeper and more often. But it is also a season when I'm reminded to think about those less fortunate. And once again, I'm asking you to help me do a small part to help others.
Like I did last year, I'll be doing a Cans for Comments campaign. Between December 5th to 11th, leave a comment on any of my posts and I will donate a non-perishable food item to the Daily Bread Food bank. 1 comment = 1 can. Its that simple.I am so blessed in my life. I am blessed to have you kind readers here visiting and leaving your sweet comments. To me, this season is about giving and showing love to others. It will bring me such joy to teach these lessons to my little elf as she helps me cart those cans to the food bank. Last year, I donated 76 cans... I'm sure you can help me do much more this year! So don't hold back... comment away :)

ReplyDeleteColour me different... Have Chloe pick out a JAR [if you use any] of Baby Food for me. Blueberry is always a good choice...
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, for myself, I took a slightly different route on Holiday Charity Drives... You know those PC POINTS? I cashed a bunch in for the $10. Gift Cards. And have used them to pop into those SalvationArmy/FoodBank "kettles".
